Mr. Tormo is Managing Director of Lumen with over 25 years of experience focusing on forensic economics, dispute damages analysis, valuation, finance, and forensic accounting. As an expert economist and CPA, Mr. Tormo leads a team of seasoned professionals that works full time in assisting clients in litigation matters. This group has worked for years as a consolidated team as part of one of the leading dispute consulting practices in the United States.
Mr. Tormo specializes in preparing economic damage claims and reviewing claims on behalf of defendants. The analysis of complex damages, valuation, and financial forensic investigations have been the core practice areas for Mr. Tormo for over two decades, having consulted in more than 1,000 cases in a wide variety of subject areas and industries. In connection with his work, Mr. Tormo testifies as an expert witness regarding financial, accounting, forensic, and economic issues. He has testified in U.S. state and federal courts, domestic and ICC/ICSID international arbitrations, as well as courts in foreign jurisdictions.
Mr. Tormo began his career at Deloitte and was Director of Special Services at BDO Seidman, Houston. He is a graduate of Rice University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in economics and accounting.
